  I was desperate for help during finals week for my Biochemistry class. I know it was a bit late to start looking for a tutor, but I am unbelievably grateful that I found Ana online! As a millennial student, I had never taken online classes before and was completely new to online tutoring. I decided to take a chance on Ana, and I can honestly say I struck gold! She tutored me four days straight and was able to jump right into the difficult final exam material.

  I have had extremely challenging professors in both Biochemistry and Organic Chemistry, but Ana has an incredible ability to explain difficult material in a way that makes it click. I’ve had Ana as my tutor for almost an entire year! As a 35-year-old student working full-time while trying to earn the grades I need to apply to veterinary school, my time is limited and precious. What makes Ana stand out is that she doesn’t sit back and let you struggle through problems for hours. During our Zoom sessions, she would screen share and use GoodNotes to draw out every biochemical pathway and organic chemistry mechanism, guiding me step by step by asking what I thought the next step should be until I fully understood each concept. She also had me share my screen and watched as I worked through problems on my own, stepping in only when I needed guidance. This helped build my confidence and ensured I was truly learning the material.

  She was also incredibly generous with her time, often tutoring me for up to four hours straight when I needed to finish an assignment before the deadline or prepare for an exam. She never made me feel rushed or unintelligent and was always patient, encouraging, and genuinely invested in my success. It felt like we were solving every problem as a team, and that teaching style made all the difference. She is adaptable and adjusts her teaching style to your individual needs.

  One thing that absolutely blew me away is how organized she is with her notes and note-taking—she means business! I honestly wish all of my professors’ notes looked like hers. She creates insightful practice worksheets that truly prepare you for exams, and they have become some of my favorite study tools.

  Choosing Ana as my tutor was even more rewarding because her rates are affordable, especially considering her knowledge, preparation, and the quality of instruction she provides. She also saves and sends all of the notes from each session so you can review them.

  Ana is currently in graduate school pursuing her dream of becoming a physician, and her passion for science and teaching shines through in every session. If you’re pre-health or studying for challenging science courses or graduate-level exams, do yourself a favor and make her your GO-TO tutor. She also tutors Spanish, which just shows how knowledgeable and well-rounded she is.

  Ana truly has a wealth of knowledge, an amazing attitude, and makes learning enjoyable instead of overwhelming. She is an absolute lifesaver, and I only wish I had found her sooner! I’d love to gatekeep her, but everyone deserves a tutor like Ana!

She truly cares about her students and goes above and beyond to make sure you succeed. She doesn’t just teach you the material, she makes sure you actually understand it and know how to apply it conceptually, which made all the difference for me.   Ana has tutored me in a plethora of subjects, and in each one she has mastered the material. She also provides plenty of practice, creating a supportive environment where you’re free to make mistakes and then she patiently walks you through them until you truly understand. Over the years she has provided the support I needed in order to believe in my ability to learn. I walked away from every session with a stronger understanding of the material and genuine confidence in what I had learned. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
